Any way to replace a key fob for a newer car other than the dealership?

Lost my key fob yesterday. I've got the spare, but that still just leaves me with one. I'd really like to have a second one "just in case" (like I needed yesterday).

Looks like the dealership wants about $190. Ouch.

I know older cars will work with aftermarket key fobs that mainly just unlock the doors. But this is a full keyless entry and push button start fob. Found an article on Consumer Reports warning about aftermarket key fobs if you car is less than 5 years old. They also said look for a key fob to run $200-500 (with European cars being the highest).

Is there another good option, or suck it up buttercup and pay the $190?
